The Children's Ministry of Laurel Springs Baptist Church exists to equip students to grow in their faith and knowledge of the Bible so they might be prepared to face whatever this world might throw their way. The ministry is overseen by Luke Lunceford and the Children's Council but is ran by a group of dedicated volunteers. We offer a variety of programs not for entertainment purposes but so that we may be found faithful with the children God has entrusted us to lead. In addition to our weekly activities we also offer fellowship and missions events throughout the year. Every summer kids 3rd-6th grade are encouraged to go to CentriKid camp in Anderson, South Carolina. If you have any questions about the weekly schedule or any other events please contact Luke.
CHILDREN'S WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
Sunday:
9:45- Sunday School
Sunday School is offered for every age group. During this time children learn from faithful and gifted volunteers while having fun with other kids their age.
11:15- Children's Church
Children's Church is offered for younger kids during our morning worship service. These children participate in worship but are dismissed before Pastor Brent starts preaching. During this time we seek to provide an opportunity for children to learn in an environment more conducive to their age.
6:00- KidsALIVE
KidsAlive is a kids worship experience saturated in discipleship. It is a place where kids can invite their friends, come to have fun, worship, and be discipled. KidsALIVE meets every Sunday night from 6:00-7:00 in the fellowship hall.
Wednesday:
6:30- Mission Friends/ Kids on Mission
Wednesday night is our night when kids of all ages come together to learn about missions. Mission Friends (PreK-Kindergarten), Kids on Mission (1st-6th grade) all meet to learn about missions across the street and around the world. They are all also provided with opportunities throughout the year to take part in a variety of mission projects.
